Protocol for Fast Green FCF staining of membranes 1. After dot blotting or electrotransfer onto nitrocellulose or polyvinylidene Xuoride (PVDF), the dry membrane is wetted and then stained for 10 min with 0.001% Fast Green FCF in 30% (v/v) methanol and 7% (v/v) acetic acid. 2. The membrane is destained for 10 min with 30% (v/v) methanol and 7% (v/v) acetic acid and then is washed in water for 10 min. 3.
