描述Diosmetin (Dio) is a major active component of flavonoid compounds. Diosmetin is a natural flavonoid which inhibits human CYP1A enzyme activity with an IC50 of 40 μM in HepG2 cell. Dio exhibited anticancer activity and induced apoptosis in HepG2 human hepatoma cells via cytochrome P450, family 1-catalyzed metabolism^[3]. Diosmetin selectively induced apoptosis and enhanced the efficacy of paclitaxel in NSCLC (Non-small-cell lung cancer) cells via ROS accumulation through disruption of the PI3K/Akt/GSK-3β/Nrf2 pathway^[4]. Diosmetin produced significant vasodilatory effects^[5]. In vitro experiments also showed that diosmetin activated Nrf2 and HO-1, as well as inhibited the NLRP3 inflammasome in both RAW264.7 and A549 cells^[6]. Moreover, diosmetin not only suppressed tumor cell proliferation and migration but also induced cell apoptosis via the caspase pathway in B16F10 cells, and potently inhibited tube formation and cell migration in HUVECs^[7].
